See articles regarding the 1959 Navy A-3D-1 crash that took the lives of three, including Louis Lockhart, s/o Orval and Eula Mae (Sharp) Lockhart. Orval was s/o Virgil & Della A (Striker) Lockhart. Orval Lockhart was born December 15, 1909 in Alberta Canada. Della was a d/o William E Striker. According to the W (William) E Striker History written by Sylvia Lockhart Bergan the W E Strikers were from Berne IN settling at Rolette Co in April of 1900. Elk Tag Raffle raises more than $100K for ‘Annie’s House’ amid budget cuts

Hi Gary and Dunseith friends,
Annie’s House is a wonderful facility; a place which benefits many of all ages in need of adaptive tools.!
I was excited to ring up and give the good ($100,000.) news to our family matriarch, Aunt Priscilla.
And also share that the winner of an Elk Tag , Karson Schepp is
class of 1968’s own Martha (Lamb) Schepp’s son.
We are blessed here in rural North Dakota to have the continued
presence of generous people who continue lending unequivocal support.
I love sharing good stuff!

Joke of the day
Ole , age 92 and Lena, age 89, living in the Northfield Retirement Center,
are all excited about their decision to get married.
They go for a stroll to discuss the wedding, and on the way they pass the Village Drug.
Ole suggests they go in.
Ole addresses the man behind the counter:
“Are you the owner?”
The pharmacist answers, “Yes.”
Ole: “We’re about to get married. Do you sell heart medication?”
Pharmacist: “Of course, we do.”
Ole: “How about medicine for circulation?”
Pharmacist: “All kinds.”
Ole “Medicine for rheumatism?”
Pharmacist: “Definitely.”
Ole: “How about suppositories?”
Pharmacist: “You bet!”
Ole: “Medicine for memory problems, arthritis and Alzheimer’s?”
Pharmacist: “Yes, a large variety. The Works.”
Ole: “What about vitamins, sleeping pills, Geritol, antidotes for Parkinson’s disease?”
Pharmacist: “Absolutely.”
Ole: “Everything for heartburn and indigestion?”
Pharmacist: “We sure do.”
Ole: “You sell wheelchairs and walkers and canes?”
Pharmacist: “All speeds and sizes.”
Ole: “Adult diapers?”
Pharmacist: “Sure.”
Ole: “We’d like to use this store as our Bridal Registry.”

Hi Gary,Alot of interesting pictures and stories this A.M. The one Dick wrote about the jail house,and picture is very interesting.It really jogs a persons memory about alot of things.A con will always be a con the majority of the time.He took a big risk,if he started that mattress on fire for the purpose to escape.
About the waitress in Dales Cafe,she looks like she would be from the Norman Hiatt family,or Honsey,or maybe even a Medrud…All just wild guesses…I started one of those food detox,cleanse your system programs
a couple days ago.That Big Jumbo hamburger sure looked good…then I think back to your half hatched egg story from the other day,and I’m right back on track…all food temptations disappear.Well Gary,Thanks for everything,and hope you have a Blest Day. Aggie
