We have Larry Millang’s permission to post:
Larry Hackman’s (66) reply to Larry Millang (66):  Bismarck, ND

Gary’s comment
Larry Millang, so sorry to hear all this stuff happening to you. It is tough, that we know. Just hang in there, it will get better. Please take Larry Hackman’s advice and plan on attending your 1966 DHS class reunion. Attending will probably be some of the best medicine you could ever have. You  have so much support from your class mates too. You will be the drawing card for others to attend. I am looking forward to seeing the reunion pictures with you in them too. With 4-H, Riding the same school bus and our close family ties, we were close childhood friends. Unforgettable memories that we will cherish for a lifetime. I bet your sisters will give you lots of support attending this reunion too. Your class mates would dearly love to see them too.  You have a birthday coming up in 4 days (7/12). Happy advance birthday. I will catch you 9 days later. You were and always will be my senior.  Gary
Larry M
I’m sorry to hear of your condition.  I will be praying for you.
But if you get a chance and feel up to it, please drive up to Metigoshe and just drop in.  Everyone would be happy to see you.
It is not going to be the same without our only male honor student from the Class of 1966.
This was Your idea, that was brought up in a discussion with Jim Tooke from what I understand.
I am going to send this onto all our classmates and friends, so that we can all be praying for you.
Hang in there Larry Millang. and
Thank You for your reply,
Larry H.

Condolences to the LaVallie family from Sharon Longie Dana (73): MIssoula MT

To all of the LaVallie Family and extended family:

I send my condolences to all of you. When I was a little girl I was rasied to call Andrews parents Aunt and Uncle and they were family. I will be thinking of all of you on Friday.

Condolences to the LaVallie family from Dick Johnson (68): Dunseith, ND

Gary and Friends,

We have lost a friend with the passing of Andy LaVallie. He was a
decent, honest, and humble man who was always there with a hand shake
and smile whenever we met. He was one of those who served his country
during the Viet Nam war and then continued to lead others in honoring
the veterans, through the American Legion organization, for many years.
I want to send my condolences to his wife, Carol, and their sons, and to
the extended LaVallie families. Andy will certainly be missed by all of
us who knew and respected this good man.

Dick

To Crystal,
Thank you for your kind words. If I’m not mistaken, your picture was taken at the Peace Gardens about three weeks after we were married which would make it 52 years ago.
