Dear Dunseith Alumni and friends,

It’s with a very heavy heart that I send this sad news.

Art Rude passed away Yesterday morning, Saturday April 9, 2022, at Trinity Hospital in Minot.

Art graduated with the Dunseith HS class of 1971. He was born March 31, 1953 (69 years old)

He will always be remembered for the kind of guy he was. He was an Educator, (math was his forte), He was a song writer, He was a singer, He was a comedian, He was a Politian, and the list goes on and on.

Art was six years behind me in school, but I remember him well. In those years he was Junior. In later years he preferred to be address as Art Rude.

Art was a good friend. We will miss him dearly. May he rest in peace.
