Hi Gary, that was a great picture of Gary and Murl….she is such a beautiful person both inside and no doubt about outside! What a fun spirit she has, no hesitation when Gary ask if she wanted a ride! We did not ride the bike up, pulled it on a trailer behind the motor home. The weather was absolutely fabulous to make good use of the bike to look over the Bottineau, Lake Metigoshe, Turtle Mts. and Dunseith areas.
We also enjoyed visits with my cousin, Rod Ovitt, Norman and Shirley Vandal and Don and Sharon Nelson. It is always so much fun to touch base on home territory and reconnect. Another wonderful surprise this visit was NO MOSQUITOES. That was such a plus because we were outdoors much of the time. Sue

Pastor Grudt
 
Pastor Grudt should being back a lot of memories for many of you folks. I was confirmed by Pastor Grudt in 1961. I then became a member of Salem Lutheran church.
 
I will always remember him giving me the eagle eye when I should have had my head bowed for the benediction.  He was a great pastor, respected and well liked.

Hi Gary,
 
I’m being nosey. :) I see Susie Millang was a guest at the Seier cabin at Long Lake.  I’m wondering if it was at the John/Phyllis Seier cabin.  Their daughter, Emily, was my student years ago–maybe 15/20 years, or so.  At that time, Phyllis volunteered at our school (Bel Air); she “put in” MANY hours at Bel Air.
